Hey all,

So basically I'm studying film posters in Media. I'm usually good and descriptive with the terminology but I'm currently stumped on what to wrte about?

I have to consider all parts of film posters, what captures the attention, i there a hidden messae in them etc ... it cn be any film poster. I have to do an evaluation on it but I'm lost for ideas as in what I can write about.

Can you maybe throw some ideas my way?

It's just ocassionally I find that my essays aren't good as they should be.

Cheers much,

Hiya, I know when I did a media degree I always found 'semiotics' a handy theme for essays. Ie what does the poster tell you about the film without the text. Would the visuals alone tell you what genre it is, who the target audience is, whether its a comtemporay piece? etc etc
