What age of your kids did you enjoy most?
I adored my sons babyhood, and loved him being an adorable little toddler. He is now 10 and I find myself looking forward to him becoming a teenager, I think its a very exciting time of their lives, when they make friends that usually last a lifetime, become the adults they are going to be and start out on their lives properly.
Dont get me wrong, I wish I could squish him back down to a baby lol but I cant :-(
I've been spending a lot of time with teenagers lately as a 19 year old friend of mine just died and they are all so lovely, caring about each other and being so loving and supportive.

hi mycats strangely been thinking about this a lot just lately, my daughter is 14 and going through that.........'i know it all and you know nothing' stage, and i hate it, oh i look at photos of her when she was 2 up to about 8 and think ahhhh... if only... hate this stage where they get independent and challenge you over EVERYTHING, wish i'd had more now? ah well, ther's always grandchildren i guess :- O heheheheheheh not for a good 7 or 8 years tho hopefully x
I must say, i love Callumat his age (8) as he is super cheeky, but i am loving having a baby again, Emmy is 4 and a half months and is learning quick, and makes us all laugh so much everyday! If i could have a 'normal' pregnancy and labour i would do it again in a flash!
I would have a million Emmys if i could!
10 year old are soooo difficult my boys are 11 and 12... still going through it although the 12 year old is coming through the other side, he is turning into Kevin from the adverts! just waiting for the next phase... not to worry they'll soon be off to university!! lol
i think they're perfect at 2-4 years, that when they begin to get interesting, they talk, learn so much, they are filled with wonder at every new thing, they love u and are always up for a cuddle. they can be naughty and cheeky but in a nice way. they havent yet learnt how to be scarcastic or defiant and mostly do as you tell them.
My eldest is only 5 but so far it is deffinatly after 3. The first year is sooooo hard. The second gets better but the third when they communicate clearly and their charicter grows daily is great
definitly toddler age when the world is so excititng for them
Am i the only one that loves the baby years?

Oh no boob, I absolutely loved the baby years. I was never maternal and was totally blown away by how amazing this little baby was. I used to stare at him when he was sleeping lol, he never left my side for about the first 3 years lol
I am like that with Em, she is with me ALL the time, she hates being away fromm me and is a big mummies girl!
I am secretly quite pleased, as its an excuse to get her back from people i am not keen on! :-P
I have loved all ages - they all bring their own joys/hassles!!
My son was a really, really good baby but i did enjoy him more when he was a bit older. However, he is now 16 and of course knows EVERYTHING and thinks that I know NOTHING! Mycats, you may be looking forward to him being a teenager now, but when he gets there you may be wishing he was younger again! I think being a parent of a baby or a toddler is a walk in the park compared to the parent of a 14+. Having said that though, they are all different and yours just might be wonderful (hope so!).
