After meeting a new potential partner, is there a right time to get intimate with one another ? Say 2 weeks, 2 days ??? All thoughts welcome.

I reckon it all depends. Before Mr W I was able to go out with a man for months without too much intamacy. However when Mr W came along the feeling was different and I didnt last long at all (about 3 dates). A fact he is very proud of.
Im not the right person to ask this sort of question so why do I feel compelled to answer. When it feels right I suppose, it could be that night if you like. My mum reckons it takes 2 years to properly get over a long term relationship, I personally think I was over mine way before it finished.
2 hours?lol
naw..it would depend totally on the people involved and the situation.
It would also depend on how they met , where they met ect ect
Agree with winny - you just know when it feels right.
I'd just say when your comfortable and trust each each other...whether that be one day or 6 months!

Oh - 2 dates later and the chap in question is feeling rather overwhelmed and not heard from him at all today, he is older than me - i have not contacted him either as im scared but personally i thought the evening in question was wonderful !
how many dates have you had in that time? My pertner and I got intimate after 5 dates, but he has since said it wouldnt have mattered whether it was first date or 6 months, so I think its nonsense about "putting out" too soon. Enjoy ! :O)
first night,first month,rifst 2 months.
depends on the woman usually.
as in most cases.
if the woman is up for it the guy seldom says hed like to wait lol
2 pints.
I would just say not to rush into it, you cannot possibly know that person for the first few dates. If you were to spend the rest of your life with this person, would you really be happy with him knowing you were an easy lay!! whilst he was wondering how many other men you slept with on the first or second date!!!
when the ring is on the finger.
I dont know Ratter Mr W has made it through 10 years. I did however have a hard to get reputation so it still depends on the persons involved.
I did however have a hard to get a reputation Winny? That didn't make sense :S

My fella is very shy so it took us AGES to kiss never mind anything else. it was about a fortnight before we even hugged. I was getting a little impatient by month 3 I can tell you :P
Its best to wait till you get him home ....you dont want to appear too keen
My reputation was that of a girl who did not jump into bed with everyone and anyone
I don't jump into bed with anyone & everyone..unless I fancied them, of course ;o)

With Mr P it was 12 hours into our first date ~ although to be fair we had known each other for 20 years.
Dammit -z-...is that right.
I agree with Winny
You know when it is right
and after many evenings following -z-'s suggestion I realised this when I met Mr C mind you I didnt last long then either but I blame the wine!
