Bleeding on the pill

I started my period Mon 29th Jan, the night of which I began a brand new course/packet of the contraception pill. I stopped taking these pills last April when I split up with an ex, so I've had them before.

Problem is, I'm still bleeding.... not heavily, but I still have to use a panty-liner.

My natural cycle has always been really crazy (I've had a period for a full one and a half YEARS and another time I went without for 10 months), but I've never had a problem when on the pill and I understand this regulates your cycle.

I'll be looking to go back on the injection after the 2nd (last) packet, but in the meantime, can anyone shed any light on this?

Many thanks! X

how fustrating!! it may just be your body needs to adjust to it, when i started the pill, i was told it may take up to 3months for my body to get used to it before you settle into a regualr cycle.

mind you, i had the exact same problem when i was on the injection, so i can understand how annoying it must be for you. thas why i changed to the pill, and i've ben fine since.

go have a word with your doctor, it may be that you need to try a different type of pill as your body could not be agreing with it for some reason..

hope this if of some help, good luck xx
