Did anyone watch Ny-Lon last night? I have some questions: how did he know where she lived? How did she know which hotel he was staying in? Have I missed something here?

He knew where she lived, becuase he looked in her filofax while she was asleep. I too missed how she found out he was in the hotel sorry, so can't help you with that bit! Good show though eh :)
Then I guess it was just me who found the programme highly cringeworthy! The script was absolutely awful and the acting was so wooden and deliberate. The two lead characters had zero chemistry between them. Having had looked forward to it, I actually had to switch off before it ended, because I was just so embarassed for it!

What a waste of a potentially good plot!

I missed the beginning, saw her fishing a bag out of a trash can, how did she know it was there?
How she knew which hotel he was in seems like a bit of a clanger to me - and as for the acting I'd have to agree with beenee some of it made me cringe, especially the bit when she turned up at his hotel and said something about possibly being dead tomorrow... made my teeth itch!
badboy she rang the person who stole it on her mobile, from his, and the thief told her where the bag was dumped
Cheers Moog, I did wonder teach me to switch over to CSI too much, the acting was a bit odd and I recon there will be plenty of other stuff that doesnt match up in the rest of this series if they think that that is acceptable. Maybe an Englishman in a NY suburb sticks out that much, I know I did.
she knew which hotel because he says to his asian mate he put the address in with the earring.
Does make sense as he did write something on it, his choice of hotel did seem a bit spur of the moment though.
I might try watching it again next week, but it seemed decidedly ropey to me, and I'm not sure about the male lead - he seems a bit smarmy, still, I'm sure I'll be in love with him by the end of the series, as usual!
He looks like his main love affair is with himself ! Visually , NY-LON looks like " As If " ( also on Channel 4 ) only not as well done.
No, you've missed nothing Georgit. It was cack. What is wrong with Channel Four these days?

Well I'm glad I've created such feeling amongst you! I'm still going to watch next week though, to see if it gets any better!
