My son is three months old, (so cute....) but anyway, so far we have used his car seat in the push chair and the moses basket thingy so he's laying flat! i was wondering when is the right time to put him in the sitting up, facing out possition? He sits in his boucer no problem, and can hold his head relatively well! i Think now he's awake for parts of the walk, it may be fun for him to see a bit more of the outside world! Your thoughts would be greatly appreciated! Thanks, Lorzy! xxx

My daughters one faces me when she is sitting, she is 4 months and likes to sit a little, not too far, she wouldnt like to be faced outwards, and my son was 8 months before he wanted to lol, but if you feel your son is ready then try taking him for a short walk, to see what he thinks :-)

Only problem with my pushchair is that if Jack was to sit, he'd have to face out as its the only option with the chair i've got! Unless in his car seat - which i have heard, should be in for long periods of time! Didnt really think of this when we brought the thing! damn! :)
Is it a Pramette? I wanted one from when i got my positive, then went to buy it and was told it wouldnt face me, so i refused to buy it, much to OH annoyance lol
Lots of people use it facing outwards, even from very young, so i am sure your lo will be fine
as long as there is a decent recline on it then it should be fine for him to sit and see some of his surroundings. Dont put him in a seat with no recline as these should only be used once he can sit unaided.
Our push chair said it should only be used from about 6 months. We bought a carry cot as well and our daughter was in this until she was about 5 months. We only moved her to the push chair because she started crying because she couldn't see what was going on!
