MULTI REGIONAL DVD'S

Can someone tell me if a multi regional DVD player, plays DVD's from ALL regions - 1,2,3 and 4 or just 1 and 2?

Most DVD players have a engineering code which can be entered which will unlock all regions. I bought a cheapo DVD player for 99 pounds and got the code off the internet and hey-presto - multi-regio DVD player for a hell of a lot less than buying one in the shops and getting it "chipped" (most small shops offer this chipping as a service for an extra fee and all they do is enter the engineering code)

Most DVD players can be made Multi-regional by pressing certain buttons on the remote. These are called Remote Hackable codes. You can find out if your player is remote hackable by going to http://www.regionfreedvd.net/players and selecting the brand of your DVD Player from the list.
