Is this a Giant Tobacco Plant

I have what looks like a giant Tobacco plant growing in my garden. I have only ever seen the bedding variety.It stands over 5ft tall with huge leaves.How common are these plants.

How lovely! I've never seen any except on tv or in books.The tallest I've ever grown were about 2 or 3ft, bought as small plants. I just might get some seeds next year.At least you wont have to bend down to get the fragrance. (Nicotiana Sylvestris if you want to look them up)

I grow these every year and they always cause a stir! The plant is Nicotiana Tabacum, can grow to 8ft with pink flowers.Have a look at Chiltern Seeds catalogue they list 2 sorts.
