Is there a sane person anywhere who would argue that a dim-wit's string of unpleasant remarks, which are borderline bullying and borderline racist, are worse than death threats? While Jade Goody is now being treated as a criminal and practically disowned by British society despite apologising profusely, shouldn't the Asian community now be brought to book for its infinitely greater crime of burning effigies and making death threats to Jade, Jackiey, Jo and Danielle - outrageously disproportionate reactions? What kind of example has THAT been to young people? Imagine if a British Caucasian had made a death threat to Shilpa Shetty - it'd spark WW3. And if you want serious racism, it doesn't get any worse than the Indian caste system. So don't you think we should now have Shilpa Shetty, if not the Indian government, forced to make grovelling apologies themselves?

For someone demanding that folk correctly analyse evidence, are you not a wee bit short on evidence and analysis yirsel? You make assumptions about placards written in a foreign languge and yet you cannot comprehend answers I've written in English. If you can point out where I even HINT at saying I know what the placards say, I'd be grateful.

As for the death threats, I have no poof any have been made let alone who's behind them. You are the one making the accusations so it is down to you to give the proof not me.
Fightin' for the red corner, I refer back to my previous post.
"It's political correctness gone mad"
Well, this evidence from good ol' craigiep is flooding in then...
People you're scaring me. jade has appoligies to everyone she could. Let's believe people can change, otherwise what is the point???? And Shilpa it was very wrong and I feel for her, it was probably the worst experience of her life...but she has forgiven Jade learn from her. On a big scale you want to be against racism, set an exampel ...joko what is the reality of caste system?????outlawed???of course
This boy, along with 250 million of his people, have been told by the upper castes of India that they are less than human. If even their shadows falls on an upper caste, it pollutes them. The Dalit Freedom Network (DFN) is working with a growing number of individuals, foundations, and organizations outside of India to help support organizations that are within India to help the Dalits (doll-leet) gain their freedom. Take a moment and learn about the most oppressed people of all mankind.

And another thing- :burning effigies is wrong and there is no such a thing "as only" thecorbyloon. I would like to hear you saying "please it is no the way to sort things out rather then "it was only..."
The Caste system in India is based upon social class and occupation - it is still racism.

"The Asian community has not been calling for the death of anyone in Big Brother.(how do you know???) If there have been death threats made by some nutter, how can you prove who made them?"
We don't know who and I don't care about the country of origin but again what we should emphasise is :that it is wrong.

Look...sorry, but THECORBYLOON frequently writes the kind of posts I would like to write, but I have neither the intellect or education to support.

If I was on the receiving enf of TCL's post on Saturday, I'd be feeling embarrassed.

And craigiep...surely you know now that I'm not jumping on the bandwagon.

I'm driving the bandwagon, and my dad's the conductor.

Hoorah for me, and gawd bless THECORBYLOON (although I wish the name used upper and lower case.
