Hi, Just wanted to share this.
Bit the bullet & went to buy the scart type link from Maplins. Turns out it was 60 & out of stock at my branch. Was about to buy the one off eBay (53) but then my other 'alf found it on the Argos site - cat number 534/5904 - for ... 40 ! Was convinced it wouldn't work but connected it to my SKY box & hey, picture perfect upstairs ! Don't even need the (unobtrusive anyway) 'eyes' if you don't use a remote so nothing on show at all. Easy peasy to set up, I'm well chuffed !
Thanks again to those who responded to my original Q. :o)

Hi there thanks for that update I have also be interested in getting one so I can watch sky in my bedroom, however I am still confused about a point or too, with the model you have got.

Q I want to watch sky in the bedroom but can I change the sky channel from upstairs in the bedroom or do I have to go down stairs all the time to change channel. I thought I had heard about models which came with a remote which allowed you to change channel through the set top box, is that the model you have???

The one I got, from Argos, has 2 little 'eyes'. One's positioned downstairs, close to the 'eye' on the SKY box, the other upstairs. You need to use these so the remote can be used upstairs, so yes - you can change SKY channels from upstairs, by using the original SKY remote. No extra remote's included with the DigiSender.
