I used Windows XP Picture Tasks wizard to copy photos to a CD-RW for storage. I'd like to play them on the TV though my DVD player, but the when you put the disc in the timer counts up but nothing happens. the DVD instructions says it only plays CD-RWs that have been finalised, but the simple process in Windows doesn't offer that option. It's just like saving onto a floppy disc. What can I do to finalise the CD?

seems to be a bit of confusion here denise--cd-rw and dvd-rw are different from cd-r and dvd-r--the latter 2 you can finalise--that means u cannot add more data to them--the former 2 are of different format and u use them like floppy disks--these u do not finalise--u just add and delete data to and from them--i suggest you write ur photos to a cd-r or dvd-r and when u have filled the disk(s) or are sure u don't want to add any more then finalise the disk(s)--u will also need to check what formats ur dvd player can support--eg ur photos may have to be in jpg format as opposed to another like tif, gif bmp etc--hope this helps
