Brush and then floss...or floss and then brush...or does it really matter?????????

I floss & rinse out, then brush & rinse out. That's what my dentist recommends.
P.S. Flossing flushes out all the debris before brushing. Don't say that too fast though!
I have a back to front dentist who insists on brushing teeth first, then removing all leftover bits with floss.
