i got a little black dot on the side of my nose about 2 years ago and thought it was i big black head so squeezed it and just blood came out so left it because it was quite sore then i noticed it was getting bigger so pierced it with a pin because my mum said it looked like a blood spot/blister but all that has done has made it get even bigger i have to put loads of make up on it to cover it up i hate it, its also standing out now! i used to go on the sunbed every day for 9 mins for 3 years so im a bit worried that it could be something serious im only 21, should i go to the doctors?

Hmmm, yeah you should go to the docs.
It could be one of them insects that escaped from that government research center. Apparently they escaped in some womans hair. They find an open sore, lay eggs in it and when the eggs are ready to hatch, they turn black. Did it squeel when you popped it carlyo2le? It could be that one hatched early inside you and is now spreading. You might not live anywhere near there though...
It's definitely worth getting it checked out by the doctor - there may be a simple procedure that will get rid of it.
MrBen5 - it was quite funny the first time, even midly amusing the second, but it's getting a bit old now...
I don't want to alarm you carly, but you should see a doctor - let them decide if it is just something simple.
ok makemesmile , i am just making the public aware of what goes on that they dont know about. Hope you live near there :)
Actually makemesmile , i never see any questions from you...
whats going on mr ben your only joking i hope
I ask them occasionally.

Too scared of people like you taking the p1ss :-P
If you are fair skinned and have been exposed to either extensive sunlight or sunbeds, then potentially you are possibly looking at a small melanoma which could be benign or malignant. A simple procedure under local anaesthetic will remove the black spot and it will then be tested. If it is malignant then youy may have to undergo a course of treatment but it is not somwething to be alarmed about at this stage, your GP will probably refer you to the local hospital quite quickley and you will sooon know the results, I would in the meantime try to avoid aggravating the area and avoid putting make up on it, also, stay away from sunbeds and don't stick pins in anything, weven if you sterilise it first, and tell your Mum i think her advice was a bit silly too.
