i've got a citroen saxo vts and the alarm go's off for no reason it's just a standard citroen alarm.

Is it the one with the microwave sensors at the top of teh A' Pillars? If so then it could be something as innocent as a dangling air freshener, especially in the high winds at the moment. If not then it could be a faulty switch on a door / boot lid.
