I work in an open plan office. They have recently installed a Lucozade drinks machine in the office.

I'm a little perturbed by this as i have heard rumours that Lucozade is bad for you?... something to do with the colouring they use. Is this true? and what are the effects?

It dispenses both, infact all the lucozade range im led to believe..
Hydro-active is the worst apparently?
Simple solution. Don't drink it.
Its in an office enviroment though, presumably surrounded by adults who can make their own decisions as to what they consume? It has food colouring in it and a fair bit of glucose and caffiene so perhaps not so good for those with intolerances.
Ive never heard any specific warnings about lucozade but would be more concerned if the vending machine had been placed in a school perhaps or if your employer had taken away all other options for refreshment and this was the only fluid available.
Try Red Bull instead
ooops panic said it all in one sentence lol
Now Red Bull. What does that do to you?
it gives you wings!!!!!! :)
One thing about Lucozade - I woke one night with a raging thirst, knocked back a can of cold Lucozade, and the ensuing nightmares were awful. Daytime drink only.
Just like the coffee machine, just because it is there doesn't mean you have to use it.
I like coffee
yea coffee.....I'm going to make a cup now
Hmmm, i drink loads of lucozade and it hasnt done me any harm...
I spend most of my day at the coffee machine. It doesn't go unnoticed.
regarding the colouring used there has been some discussion whether there is a link between this and cancer

obviously consuming massive amounts of chemically and sugary water when sitting around in an office isn't very good for you at the best of times even without the sunset yellow colouring issue...
