criminal profiling help,please

i am 18 and am planning on going to university as i want to be a criminal profiler. has anyone got any advise on ways to go about that, what to do after uni, where to start?

would presume that you would have to do either a criminolgy degree and or a psychology degree, theirs bound to be a website somewhere which could help more.
Agree some sort of psychology degree. Once you get to uni, you'll find lots of sources of careers advice, places to apply to etc etc, and possibly even some work experience opportunities.

Perhaps to start with, you might want to contact the careers department of your local police force and ask them what areas of psychology you should be looking to study.

Mind, my childminder's son did this, applied for the police there and then, deferred his training place until after uni (he did forensic science). He took up the place after uni and never did go into forensics - he enjoyed being a community copper too much.
