Changing ISP!?!?!

If I change my ISP (from Freeserve/Wanadoo/Orange to Sky Broadband) will my old email address still be active? I have an old freeserve email address that ends in fsnet.co.uk which I setup with their original free internet offer (i.e no subscription, just pay for the phone call). This has remained active and I still receive these emails even though I am now on a BB tariff, I can also still receive these emails remotely via PDA using my old dial-up details. I guess I am trying to convince myself that the email account will still work if I now switch provider. Can anyone confirm what is likely to happen??

Thanks

Your email will stay active for 90 days or thereabouts. if during that time you haven't used their "dial-up" to access the net, your mail box will be locked. Unlocking doesn't cost anything, takes about 5 minutes and then you're good for another 90 days or so. gets to be a bit of a pain after a while, I stayed with an fsnet address for a long long time after leaving wanadoo but got fed up in the end. I couldn't dial up though as my PC doesn't have a modem only a router. If you have a modem, use a dial up connection to access Wanadoo once every 80 days or so, log off immediately and it's sorted. This is all based on my experience leaving Wanadoo about 2 years ago. It may have changed since or maybe not.

Thanks very much, I am going to take the plunge anyway as the Sky BB offer is far superior to Orange and a damn site cheaper. Checking the old account should not be an issue as I do it regularly via mobile anyway.

Thanks once again.
