My friend has given me some flexi-stylers - long thin foam "rods" that bend and stay in shape, like the Nicky Clarke ones. I have used them to produce really tight curls, but apparently you can also create more subtle cyrls, waves, and even ringlets. Any suggestions please?

i have never used the rods but i recently went to a hairdressers and she curled my hair into loose ringlets with the ghd straighteners . ive been told the best way for waves is to use rags.
