In 1714 the single office of Lord High Treasurer was replaced by the Treasury Board. The last Lord High bloke was Charles Talbot, Duke of Shrewsbury.

No 'E's involved so far.

I suppose you could say the Exchequer was supplanted by the Treasury Board, in terms of it's authority, but it still existed until 1834ish.
