I would love to chat to other folk - does anyone know any sites where this happens ? I've heard about "froggers" and "cerescape" but I've heard that they are run by small cliques of friends who all know each other already and aren't that friendly to newcomers. Does anyone know anywhere else ?
whilst this is a question and answer site, it would be incredibly tedious and un entertaining to visit if there was no interaction between the abers. it can be fun.
Aye dot.hawkes, I totally agree, which is why I was asking about more chat. I can't really chat to other folk on here because I realise now that the topic will get removed in the morning by the auditors.
oh my God we have auditors!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! lol no unless it is blatant chat with no substance and no relevance to the question posted then yes it can be removed, but only if fellow members deem it so and report it using the available options to do so.
So I guess dot.hawkes that you are suggesting I stay on here .... ? I wasn't seeking a different place to be altogether, just ANOTHER place as well for a bit of a chat ....
Thank you kind Whiffey - but as I intimated above, I have heard that this froggers site is a cliquey place and I have no wish to join up to such an ordea/ideal. I am looking for more independence with no sprouts please. OK, a few sprouts would be ok, but not too many !
right thats it im reporting the lot of you
froggers or cerescap we'll have them.come and have a go if they think theyre hard enough
we'll out chat the pair of them then beat them in the quiz
weve got geniuses and psychopathic bigots with open university degrees in astrophysical genocide struggling to make the team
and as for girls- weve got beauties every one of them and all of them do a turn
time for a question just to keep her face streight
Cerescape seemed very abrupt when you try to interact with them. I found it difficult to understand the rules and when i made a mistake seemed to be punished harshly. Answerbank is far better than that, and slightly more welcoming than there users too.
Froggers seems more a chat site rather than a Q and A site but i have found that what seemed to be cliquey actually turned out to be very warm and friendly people that have just become good friends. No matter what site you go to there are always people on them that are good friends and have in-jokes, but although that happens on Froggers they do seem extremely friendly towards helping new people to settle in and join in the banter.
I personally would stick to Answerbank for Q and A and Froggers for the chatting-socialising aspect of things and forget Cerescape. But thats my own personal opinion.
