Hi people, I need a snack that I can eat loads of and not worry at all about how much weight il be putting on! I love eating nibbly bits while I watch tv etc, but as my new years resolution is to loose weight I cant be eating crisps and things! Just wondere dif anyone had some good ideas for some snacks!

depends on your taste, but i make up a large mixed salad bowl (celery sticks, tomatoes, peppers, onions, low fat pitta bread, low fat bread sticks and suchlike), then have a selection of low fat dips at the ready (reduced fat mayo, salsa etc). There is a large selection available at the shops - make sure they are at the ready in the fridge or you will find yourself nibbling on things you shouldn't.... also if you nibble while you are preparing these it don't matter ! Thats my worse fault, nibbling at stuff i'm preparing. Good luck in your diet..

Hope you like celery because the body actually burns up more calories ingesting and digesting as much celery as you care to consume than the twee amount af calories that celery contain. Also a great diuretic because of the water content. Nibble away!
PS It also helps to burn off calorie intake with exercise - I watch TV when on my walking machine - then nibble!
i'm with mustang on this one, I always have a big bowl of carrots, peppers,celery, cucumber at the ready in the fridge... then wash down with a pint of sparkling water, and half a freshly squeezed lemon or lime
