Hiya. Can anyone please advise the easiest way to catch buses to the Disney resort from a hotel based on I-Drive {by Universal}? I think you have to get 2 buses but have no idea of what numbers or where to get off or even the cost - and would a taxi be cheaper perhaps?
Also, bearing in mind the current exchange rate is pretty good should I buy now or hold of a bit longer as some people I know reckon it will go as high as 2!?
Thank-you

There are thousands of people staying on i drive who want to get to the theme parks.

I am sure there will be plenty of buses going to the parks, your hotel may even offer a free bus service.

I have an inkling that if you ask your hotel when you get there they may just be able to help you.
A good idea when you are out there is to go to the tourist information and get a ticket for the " I Ride" it is a bus that goes up and down I-Drive you can buy a ticket for as many days as you want,it is very cheap, you can then take the I-Ride directly to sea world, and you can get connecting buses from there to Disney parks, if you are going to universal i think you take the I-ride to sand lake road and then a connecting bus, but sometimes it is just as well to take a Taxi, they are pretty cheap, also some hotels provide free transport to all the parks, when you come out of the parks or evaen waiting at a bus stop a people carrier may stop and ask you where you want to go, negotiate a price and they will take you directly there, we did a lot of that, and when out eating go to the Ponderosa or Dennys very cheap good value food, have a great time, Ray

As for the exchange rate it could go either way, I think I would buy now though just to be sure.
Some hotels on I drive offer a free shuttle but you have to book the day before ,just be warned about using a taxi that the hotel provides we got stung for a few dollars more for a small journey on our first trip there !
Talking of eating Sizzler is good too !!
Metz made a good point there about hotel taxis, also don't buy attraction tickets from hotels or get duped into timeshares, they don't call them that but that is what they are, so if the hotel offers any deals be a bit wary.
