wireless problem

i have orange wireless and but at times the internet browser says that pages cannot be displayed and messenger disconnects. Because connection was lost, but my wireless properties say that the connection to my orange livebox is still active. When i try to click 'troubleshoot' on messenger, the INS (i think
) is broken and something else but it cant repair it when i click 'repair'. what is wrong???

This could be caused by any number of issues.There are a lot of "protocols" that need to be correctly configured in order to enjoy "hassle free" connection. You have only given limited info on your system so there could be conflict issues anywhere along the line..If you are on the "livebox" connection, firstly check all physical connection points...even though you have a message saying your connection is still active..it still pays to check the simplest options first.From what you have said though..I think you may have an issue with your installed connection software...if the troubleshoot option isn't there for the repair function...your install could be corrupted..Your best bet would be a call to Orange Tech support who can talk you through a solution whilst you're on the phone....Hope this points you in the right direction...Good Luck....

First, I assume the livebox is the modem and router in one...

Turn off everything, for 5 minutes, then turn on the livebox and leave it on for one minute before turning on your computer, ideally from a wired connection.
