I would like to know if there is another way of saying "magic sword". I am thinking of fairy tales, of the Charming Prince and of kings in general. Is it usual to say "redeeming sword" or "saving sword"? Or is there any other collocation for expressing its redeeming character?

enchanted sword?
I'm sure you're familiar with the legendary Excalibur and it's magical qualities but almost every culture has an example such as this. If it's a name you are searching for, there are several. One that may have actually existed is the Kusanagi of around 5th century Japan. It was revered as one of three imperial regalia of Japan, and had many magical aspects for good according to mythology. You might check for such swords and their names in other cultures...
Give the sword a title or a name.In the books of Terry Goodkind there is The Sword Of Truth. Many of the swords in Lord Of The Rings have names.
