Valentines?

I have been in all four seasons and would say spring or autumn are best. Summer is too hot and maldorous and winter can be too wet.
Paris has a broadly similar climate to London; it is worth visiting any season of the year, and in particular don't be put off going there in summer. Like London, sometimes it's hot and humid, but the other year we spent the whole of August there, and it was cool and quite wet. Incidentally, another myth is that Paris closes down in August - this may have been true years ago, and some top-class restaurants may still shut their doors, but generally everything is open and there are many specioal summer attractions.

Any time of year because Paris is fantastic.
Don't waste your time with the usual sights (Eiffel Tower, Arch de Triumph etc) just go straight to Disneyland! I spent Valentines weekend last year walking around the main sites and was bored out of my brain, but get me on a train to Disneyland and I soon cheered up! It's reasonably cheap to get in and the rides and stuff. Worth a visit seriously though, even if you have to fit the c*appy touristy bits in first!
If you go in August, there are no Parisians there because they have all disappeared off on holiday.
