Programming Ford focus Keyfob?

After changing the battery in my keyfob on a 2000 (V reg) ford focus - the remote central locking is not functioning - how do I programme the remote control back up?

Turn key in ignition back and forward to position 2 five times - light beside clock will come on and you will hear a 'chime' sound. Now press one of the keyfob buttons. Now insert key in ignition and turn to position 2 to complete. That should get you sorted.
