Racking Gait

Why would a cat (pedigree maine coon) have a racking gait? This is when the front and back legs move in tandum instead of opposing like most gates. The vet found no broken bones and I have only had the animal a short time (he's 11 years old). Could it be some undetected injury? He's got the cutest little wiggly walk!

some individual animals just do. Some breeds tend more to produce those individuals. Weimaraners have that tendency, also some horses. If he's happy and not in pain, I wouldn't worry about it.
