I have a few books from University that Id like to get rid of, they are quite bulky but all in perfectly good condition but nobody is selling them on e-bay or Amazon Marketplace. Is there anywhere I could get some money for them? I could just give them to a charity shop although wh knows if they would shift there, alternatively I have thought about advertising them at university campus except the uni I attended is hundreds of miles away!

Try eBay - you may be pleasantly surprised.

Or

Find out the nearest University that runs the same course and advertise there.

Or if you really find you can't sell them, put them on your local freecycle website as collection only.

what is freecycle website?
Freecycle is an enterprise where you advertise your unwanted goods for free collection - everything from pcs to books to coat hangers.

I can't give you the website because I don't know where you live - try googling 'freecycle' and your home town.
