Video Calls with New Zealand

I would like to be able chat with my sister in New Zealand using the internet and webcams. Does anybody know of a cheap or free software solution?

msn messenger is good for but for new zealand 2 england yor conversation n images would b rubbish n slow,i messenger my mum who lives in spain which is not 2 bad but u do notice how slow it is as compared 2 UK
yeah, do you have a digital camera? if so, plug it in with the usb cable and plug it in at the plug as well. The computer thinks its a camera device therefore letting you use it as a webcam. But it depends, because it only started letting me use it as a webcam a few weeks ago. And for the internet solution, look for a wireless usb from ebay or somewhere, I have one of them on this computer, then you can easily connect to any wireless network.

We have found Skype works well for conversations with Relatives in Canada. The latest version 2.5 supports video cameras and is free to install and calls are also free, provided your sister signs up to Slype as well, you can then also see when each other is on line.

Just Google Skype for access.
