Does anybody know if curry's and comet take old tv's away as I am thinking of buying a new one.

Don't think they do, but if you have a local newsagent you can probably put a card in their window for about 50p a week saying "Free to good home. Buyer collects".

In Westminster, the council will take away 2 items per week for free if you call them & make arrangements - maybe your local council does the same?
