can I put a postage stamp anywhere on the letter

Can I put the postage stamp anywhere on the letter or does it have to be on the top right hand side of the envelope, and can I put as many stamps as I like on the letter

You can put it anywhere, but it's liable to be delayed if it's not at the top right. If it's on the back the stamp might be missed altogether and the letter surcharged, returned to sender or destroyed depending on what it is/the mood of the sorter.

And there is AFAIK no formal limit to the number of stamps you can put on it.

why can't a stamp go upside down - is it a state matter of interfering with her majesty's head and making her do handstands
