Hope my facts are correct...here goes. The HGE is caused by the clostridium bacteria, which amongst other things can be found in contaminated soil, food & sewage. With this in mind, it is possible I guess, for several dogs to either eat from the same bin, swim in the same polluted pond or something like that..could be?
HGE (Haemorrhagic GastroEnteritis) is not caused specifically by Clostridial Bacteria (that is one cause). It can be caused by a number of diseases, and regardless of cause can be very serious. The main concern would be Parvovirus infection which can be fatal. If the dogs are unvaccinated or have failed to have a booster vaccination, then this would be a major concern.
