marshall are a sure fire winner but i've noticed some called 'orange' i think. at least they are orange themselves. Marshall are the favourite though.
Vox AC30 for guitar...
Unansswerable question as there are no one great make......I am a Fender twin reverb fan though Marshalls are superb amps....Vox AV30's are excellent but increasingly hard to get a hold of good 'uns....Peaveys, Orange, Trace Elliot and Line 6 are all good makes.
It's all down to personal taste really, and depends a lot on what kind of music you play, and what kind of guitar you have. If you're a rocker and you want a heavy sound, you might like a Marshall or a Peavey....on the other hand if you want to play cool jazz with that woody mellow sound, then you need a Polytone or a Roland Jazz Chorus... then again, Mesa Boogie make great all round amps....there's no simple answer to your question. Since you don't say what kind of guitar you have or what your style of playing is, try checking out your favourite players and see what they use.
