Hi i`m not too good on computers, how do I open a zip file, do I need to download a programme first?

I think some zip files, particularly ones you get off the Internet, give you the option of "unzipping" them. But otherwise you just cut and paste any files in them to somewhere else, modify them however you like, and put them back in if need be.

if you right click on the file, it should give you the option of unzipping it....
