I have a computer with Linux and am unable to download music onto my MP3. I'm not very technically minded but a friend who downloads music a lot has not been able to do it on my computer. Is there a solution or do I have to buy a new computer? Thanks

It depends on the type of mp3 player you have, some mp3 players will be mounted as a removable drive, which means all you need to do is make sure the device is mounted (http://www.novell.com/coolsolutions/feature/11 637.html) and then copy the files across. but if you have an mp3 player that uses other methods to copy the files across you will need to locate the Linux drivers (if any exist), check out the manufacturers website.
