If we're not "allowed" to chat, why is there a section dedicated to jokes? How are they questions or answers?

Are you saying I'm thick? <Struggles to unbuckle straitjacket in readiness for a scrap>

Eh?
Apart from my "jokey" retort TCL, I agree it is rather an odd topic, if their aim is to stop the chatty threads which lighten up the day, then cancel the jokes one and allow the banter (but not the stupid Q's - like did you eat your cereals this morning, if so what were they?).

Have a nice day xxx
It's the stupid questions that gets the most replies.

When you post a joke you should add

Do you think this is funny?
there should be a subsection for riddles that actually incorporate question marks. This one's for you B00

What has four legs and says 'Boo'?

A cow with a cold.
where is the joke section? i've never noticed it!
it's under Phrases & Sayings. And in looking for it I discovered that there's a Riddles subsection in Quizzes & Puzzles, rendering my previous post inoperative. Sorry.
I would imagine it's to keep all the humour in one place, rather than AB'ers opening up different threads & them ending up in 'chat'.
Hehehe jno I like it!!!
Ha, ha, ha!
ROFL at ummmmmm's reply,,,

What does that say about us all (well not all) if the stupid ones get the most answers?

Nice one jno!! Now go stand in the naughty cormer for not knowing about the Riddles lol
