Engagement rings

Two months ago I got dumped by fiancee. We had been together for just under 3 years and engaged for 2.5 years. Now we are on good terms and if she ever changed her mind I would gladly get back with her but it's looking unlikely.

What should I do with my engagement ring I bought her? It's quite reasonably priced considering I was a student at the time of purchase. But should I sell it? Keep for the future? Or if miracles do happen and we get back together I'll have it to give her back?

Thanks x

I wouldnt sell it, did she not want it. For gods sake dont do what my ex is doing which is wearing it around his neck on a chain, gives me the creeps.
Bloody hell goodsoulette, that is creepy.
Sell it, dont keep it, you split for a reason, dont ever go back, move on, for you sanitys sake (and I cant spell sanities)....if it doesnt work now,it never will, play the field for a while and have some fun.

What Roughquest wrote. If you didn't get married after 2.5 years' engagement and you're still holding your emotional front door open for her, perhaps your self-esteem needs a bit of attention. Besides, you won't want bad ring karma. The thing's spoiled now.
hi. if its over 98% over sell the ring- do not keep it for the future as each ring is special for that somebody. you could let her keep it although why should you reward her for bad behaviour?????
