Did you think Louis mad ethe right decision voting of Ashley?

Was it a tactical vote?

Is the competition focused more on who wins out of the judges or are they working together to find someone with the "x factor"?

Who the hell are these people voting for the McDougall brothers?

I was dissapointed that Ashley went, i think he's a big talent, and when they played back his best bits i think it showed how good he really was vocally. Especially in his first two weeks when he sang "Easy" and then Rod Stewart number - they were top top top performances.

I also think having someone like him in, with a competitive, unusal, argumentative personality, makes the show more interesting. And the things people dislike in him i.e. his arrogance, is the reason Simon adored him!

I'm not really a fan of the X factor anymore but I do think the judges have always voted tactically and think it's a competition between themselves!

I'm not keen on all these reality competiton shows as I think they're fixed but that's probably just me being cynical!!

Ashley, along with some others, will probably get a record deal anyway as many X factor rejects have been given them!

yep he made the right choice with ashley,he cant sing sounds out of tune and sings out of his nose, couldnt understnd how he lasted so long.so glad hes gone.but he will get a record deal but i wont be buying that load of poo.
Totally agree with tradey. I don't think he could sing at all - that nasal whining was never plesant to listen to.
Oh - and its the whole of Scotland voting for the MacDonald Brothers. Basic rule is if the act is Scottish vote for them regardless of the level of talent. And I'm not having a go - I'm Scottish, but it still drives me nuts. They're not bad but they're just not up to the standard of the other contestants and if they weren't Scottish they would have gone out weeks ago.
I didnt like Ashley at all. Does anyone think that he looks like something off of Fraggle Rock??

I think he looks like Sideshow Bob from the Simpsons!
definately Agree with the decision, couldnt stand his arrogance, and he should have gone last week when he forgot the words.

True...great minds think alike ;o)
soz nat_84 looks like your on your own with this one.he should have gone the other week,i think he thought he was going to win but he didnt have a chance what with that voice
I am what you would call an old fart. Having said that I tune in every week and read all the digital spy info on the program. I think that the two Mcdougals are something out of the ark, both in sound and looks and remind me of the Kalin Twins or Millican & Nesbit. One can only assume that scottish people are hell bent on wrecking the show by voting for both them and the girl (name is so forgettable that I've forgotten it). Ben has style, stage prescence, and can sing, so if he is voted out, my theory will be right. As for Eton Rd, I didn't like them initially but after sat, they can hold the audinece in their hands.

As an aside on the judges, I cringe when Lulu gives his opinion, "they're young, they're nervous etc", all negative, as if we can't see for ourselves.
i loved ashley and personally wanted him to win! his first 2 weeks performances i think were great and really showed he is special. i must admit that his last 2 were weaker though and not up to standard. although i would much rather have rob out, as i think he will not win, and ashley could have if he got his confidence back, i think on the night rob deserved to stay in. so i dont think louis was being tactical (unless u count that he knows ashley could win) and so was a fair choice. but waa i wil miss ashley! *phew*
I think Louis made the right decision and as he mentioned earlier in Ashley's video bit before the song that he was put off by his arrogance. What really spoke to me was not only did he gorget the words last week but imagine forgetting the words singing in fron of Bjorn - what a chump. I had enjoyed his performances the last two weeks and did quite like the sound of his voice but he did himself no fsavours by forgetting the lyrics and by not taking it on the chin and owing up to himself forgetting the lyrics. He just rambled on about how hard it was and so on - IT WAS THE SAME FOR EVERYONE SO JUST MADE HIMSELF LOOK BAD BY GOING ON ABOUT IT
His arrogance when he said to Simon that Louis only voted him out because he was a threat to Louis' acts put me off him. Prior to that I had thought of him as a contender to win.

Sideshow Bob LOL :O))
