Region 1 / 2 DVD's

Does anyone know if Region 1 DVD's are likely to play on Region 2 DVD players? We would like to get some disney films for the kids this Christmas, although films like Snow White are only available to order from the states and are shown as Region 1 types. OR does anyone know anywhere we can get Disney Region 2 films from - genuine but not over priced!!

You would need to have a multi-region player.

They will not play on Region 2 only.. It must be a multi-region or be able to be programmed for Multi-region. SOme of them have code on the internet that you can type in to convert them to multis. That is what I did with mine and it will play anything

play.com have plenty of R2 disney films, but i think you might find snow white is out of print at the moment, your best bet for that would be the usual suspects ebay or amazon.

Amazon are selling a small compacks dvd which is multi region and should be set up for asc and its brill
