Is your water getting hot in the engine? If it not, Then you will need a new thermostat in your engine. If it is, Then you will have to flush out the matix ( your heater), By taking a pipe off from the bulkhead, ther are two pipe there, Take both pipe off and flush the heater through you sured have water coming out of the other one. If water comes out, refit the pipes back and fill the system up half way, And turn your heater on hot and turn the fan on. then put the rest of the water up to the mark in your radiator. Then let the car get warm, you sured then feel the heat from inside the car. Let the car get hot so your know the eletric fan works and everything is ok,
As I've said in a previous answer - in my wifes '96 Fiesta there was an item called the heater control valve - which, when faulty caused the heater to blow cold air - check with Ford and ask if it is fitted to your year of Fiesta and if so replace it - easy to do, and not expensive.
Maybe also check the hoses are actually running to the heater unit! I bought a Fiesta once and eventually found that the thermostat had jammed. That had burst the heater unit as the weakest link in the cooling system. The owner couldn't work out what was wrong or why the car kept stopping. He had just bypassed the heater unit by re routing the hoses straight from the block/radiator to the carb.
