In the first episode of Torchwood Captain Jack made reference to the "great big spaceship hovering over London on Christmas Day."

Do you recall that in David Tennant's first full episode as the Tenth Doctor Who, "The Christmas Invasion", his right hand was severed in a swordfight on the surface of the Sycorax spacecraft. The hand (and sword) fell to the Earth far below.
russell t davies was ont'radio t'other day saying that it was the Doctor's hand
I agree - didn't really think about the hand until the second episode and Captain Jack's reaction when its case smashed.. can I just say too that John Barrowman is the most lush human being on tv at the mo!

oh yeah, course it is. forgot about that.

and yes, john barrowman is very very lush. i have entire debates with myself over who is cuter - Captain Jack or The Doctor. it's a decision i just cant make!
Christopher Eccleston as the Doctor was very sexy, David Tennant is like a hyperactive science teacher but John Barrowman is very, very
But what about the programme itself, did you all like it?
I did .I like the fact fact that they have given Gwen a life out side of Torchwood. I think that helps make it more believable.
I will keep watching. It will keep me going until Doctor Who returns.:-D
