My Greenwood electric 4" ceiling fan appears not to be as efficient as when it was installed approx a year ago. I think it needs cleaning by the state of it. I have tried to take the cover off (assuming you can?) but nothing budges. Looking at in from below you see the red light but nothing that hints to removing. Same with round the sides. I'm convinced that the face must come off for cleaning but how difficult can it be?
These fans are a pain in the butt! Great if someone could point me in the right direction. Thanks

if this is a bathroom/shower room fan the check the exit pipe 'cos it may have been blocked by birds nest if there's no screen on the end. nextdoor had a wasps nest in theirs!! loads of fun hoovering it out and trying not to get stung!?
