how do i get the new releases top albums and top song recommendations off the bottom of my screen on this version please

Go to View -> Show Mini Store. Took me ages to find that! lol Also, do you use the Windows version? You might find this very useful: http://www.softpedia.com/get/Multimedia/Audio/ Other-AUDIO-Tools/iTunes-Library-Updater.shtml

This makes it easier to add/remove item from the Library.
