Mango.
Fejoa. (Cumquats are round and sour I think).
mango, loquat, papaya, all fit the bill. Fejoa's don't have orange flesh, at least not the one's I've eaten - they're either white or pinkish.
A Kimano? They are ovoid shaped, juicy orange-yellow fleshed but with little spikes sticking out of it.
Sorry its supposed to be KIWANO
