Depends on what you want it for, Naomi

I just bought a SilentNight hollofill one for £16 from ebay. Much more comfortable.

Considered memory foam but at £60+ I thought I would try the cheaper alternative first.

Sleeping on, Barry.  😂

Sorry, couldn't resist.  It's for a spare bed that I think is a bit too firm.  I'd prefer it to be much softer.

Memory foam works well.

Have you tried putting a duvet under the bottom sheet?  Sometimes that is enough.

On a double spare bed I had lots of complaints from family guests about the hardness of the mattress.

I bought a mattress topper from Dunelm, I think it's a Silent night one, and then another dual one from John Lewis, and have all of them on the bed now. They're not memory foam but are very soft and comfy.

One of my sons actually bought an Amazon Basics one, which is memory foam,  for his home and was so pleased he ordered and had one sent here too, for when he and our daughter in law come to stay, so they have all these toppers on the bed here.

The memory foam one is no more than two inches thick.

this is the one I got - pleased with it so far
