Abbey, gosh - that's all worked out so very, very well for you. I'd never have expected employers - who probably didn't find you the ideal employee! - to be so accommodating. Still, you've now got a full-time job that you seem to quite like and can cope with.

Abbey, I think many people were surprised at how long you kept up the pretence, lie, with your mum -not telling her you were working only a couple of days a week (and I don't know if you 'pretended' when you were in the care home too, working only 9 hours a week, when your mum thought it was a full-time job).

Maybe Abbey's mother has a very busy full time job, works all hours and has other things to do and think about. If her mother isn't home during the day how would she know what Abbey is or isn't doing?
