Stuck Earring Back!

Any solutions? My.lastic earring back has stuck and is.solid

 Cant move it. I've tried baby oil, wd40, and vaseline to no effect! Too small and painful to grab both ends and pull!

Numbing the ear lobe with an ice cube might make it less painful to pull.??

Have you tried getting someone else to get it off?

They won't feel the pain and will be able to give it a good tug.

Freeze with ice then use another sterile earring and push it out the back

Is it stuck to your ear or to the pin on the earring?

If they're cheap earrings can you break the fancy front off and then push the pin backwards?

The local anaesthetic gel for mouth ulcers to numb it and get a friend to do it.

Is the plastic stuck to your ear or to the earring?

Try holding the front and pull the back off with a pair of tweezers.....or the other way round might be easier

Sounds like a weird idea but have you tried dental floss?

I've finally chopped through the earring post with big nail clippers

 Tried to nip away at plastic back but it was solid and nipped the ear several times so chopped through the post. Deep joy and relief!

Yes LadyCG I did try dental floss every which way

 Knotted it behind stud in front and pulled on back but no.

Did you leave them in a long time?

Yes I was naughty! I don't change them daily! And guess with hair products etc they hardened. Never again!!
