Does anyone know how to finish ripening off a pomegranate my friend has brought be back from Crete

You can ripen most fruit by putting it in a brown paper bag along with a banana.

You can put it into foil and put it onto a sunny window ledge. This also works for underipe melons, tomatoes etc
