When properties are renovated do they still have airing cupboards?  If not, where do they put their sheets and towels, and clothes that aren't quite dry?  Just wondering ....

I had my old boiler and immersion heater replaced with a combi heater a few months ago.  The hot water comes through much quicker now, maybe because the immersion heater was in the loft

They may have improved the flow now Barry on the combi, mine is considered old now at 15years. May I ask what make you got. ( Combi)

I missed our boiler in the airing cupboard, too. We mow have a combi. We have a small radiator under the stairs, I sometimes hang t-towels, smallhand towels. underwear, socks. On top the landing, we have ledge that I sometimes hang over sheets or big towels. Other than that, straight into the dryer! We have ours on landing, next to a window. It must be so difficult for some families..

Combi boilers are great if your outlets are near(ish) the boiler.

No chance in this house, especially for the downstairs bog and one of the en-suites.

We had a combi boiler fitted in our airing cupboard about 18 months ago and I still use it as an airing cupboard, the pipe work gives off enough heat to air the clothes.
I have never put wet or damp clothes in there, it only ever got/gets used to air clothes once they've either been out on the line or hanging inside on clothes airers overnight to dry.
