Bbc Quiz ; Week 2

Well done on getting some decent scores this week, Ken!

The order of the questions in the quizzes doesn't seem to be consistent though.  So what you see as Q1 might be numbered differently for others.  (I've no idea why!)

Good morning. 4 for the main quiz, all but one guesses, also 4 for the kids quiz and I knew those! Don't know what that says about me.

I remember once on the quiz  'Are you smarter than a ten year old' after the first question came up the kid wrote down the answer straight away. the contestant asked the kid "How old are you?"

Chris, 'my' Q1 was the snooker question. I believe many will have automatically gone for the most obvious answer.

I suspect that the vast majority of 10-year-olds are far smarter than I am, Arky!

 

I just did the kids' quiz again, Ken, and the snooker question was Number 4!  I suppose that the correct answer was, indeed, the most obvious one but the question setters sometimes like to make an incorrect answer look to be obvious.  So it can be hard to be certain!  (I'd actually read that news story. So I didn't need to guess).

I've had a couple of gos at the kids quiz before now, recording first result, of course, and they do seem to mix the questions up. They never seem to be in the same order.
